Empty Oven ll Brendella
Brendan had been drowning in work the last few weeks. It probably wasn't all that healthy for him, and it wasn't like he needed the money. But if he learned anything from his abusive aunt, it was the fact that no matter how much wealth a man has, it doesn't mean he can stop working. One can never stay wealthy if he doesn't continue to work. It branched off into a different lesson of course. If you get something good in life, you have to keep on working for it, because things just don't get handed to us in life. Brendan knew that working at Gray Enterprises wasn't the smartest decision he could made in all honesty. He knew Mikey didn't like it, because that was the exact business that took their parents away. That brought another wave of thinking. If their parents never went away, how would their life be any different? Would they even be here? Would Stella and Michael dating even happen? Would Brendan even be with Stella?
Brendan exhaled trying not to think about the 'what if's' too much. They frightened Brendan and it could possibly trigger an anxiety attack. It doesn't help that he's been running low on his meds either. He was in the kitchen making himself some tea. Brendan started to hum strolling around the mansion. He then heard some music and the TV humming. Someone was watching TV. Brendan passed the room and saw Stella. He glanced at the screen and saw the VMA's open. Brendan leaned on the couch while she was enthralled by the TV and spoke, " What are you doing, love?"Â
