I just fell down a loreârabbitâhole reading about Emples, and honestly⌠Iâm obsessed!
These soâcalled toadâgoblins of the Globiuz universe arenât your typical fantasy cannon fodder. Theyâre the strange, thickâskinned remnants of the chaotic Radix era, shaped by chemical upheavals and swampâborn mutations. Ugly? Absolutely. But also weirdly fascinating.
What I love is how they break the usual fantasy mold. Instead of being locked into the âmindless minionâ role, Emples show up everywhere â from rural marshlands to megaâcities â doing everything from grunt work to becoming foremen, blacksmiths, even squad captains. Theyâre not brilliant, but theyâre tough, immune to half the diseases out there, and apparently excellent at logistics and siege work.
Theyâre like the universeâs stubborn, warty middleâmanagers of chaos.
If youâre into worldbuilding, creature design, or just love the oddballs of fantasy ecosystems, this little deepâdive is worth a look.
