15.Β At what point in writing a fic, do you decide to quit?
I have never in my life given up on a fic. I have WIPs I havenβt touched in 5+ years that I still think about with fondness. πSomeday, when the time is right, Iβll get back into this fandom and finish it
That said, itβs tough for me to come back to a fic once the magic of my initial inspiration has faded. For some fics, inspo never wanes.Β For some fics, Iβve gotten right up to the end and lost inspiration, but forced myself to finish. But if Iβm less than 50% into a fic and lose inspo, chances are I wonβt come back to it. Iβm trying to make my peace with this and take on smaller projects. Itβs a work in progress
