To be honest, I'm a bit biased with this track because I produced it. Having said that, I love the description that Dertrick Winn confesses about his turbulent love affair with his woman. Accompanied by his father singing on the chorus, Dertrick explains his trails and tribulations within this relationship but concludes, “I think cupids got something against us. But if he comes against us best believe he’ll get crushed.” “Bad Love” is an optimistic and laid-back song that will remind you of why hip-hop is one of the best poetic art forms there is.
