Do you know if you might start a new continuation fix for the learning curve universe or a different dizzie fix after youâve finished The current one?
You knowâŚlikely not.
When I was writing The Learning Curve, I definitely wasnât ready to say goodbye to these characters. I had so many ideas in my head about where I wanted to see them and what should happen that I just had to keep going. I think I was partially influenced by my own best friend having a baby too. I just really wanted Lizzie and William to experience these big events.
With The Next Grand Chapter, I feel more ready to let these characters go where they want to go. At most, a few one-shots have popped in my head where you get glimpses down the line. Iâm not committing to that or promising it either. I might make a post on here saying where everybody basically ends up.
Both Sarah and Teresa have urged me to write my own story, whether itâs totally original or a Pride and Prejudice modern variation. Weâll see what I end up doing because Iâm not sure myself. If I just stopped writing altogether after this whole journey, it would be kind of extreme. Iâve been writing for over 4 years now and it will be nearly 5 by the time this wraps up. I wonât know what to do with myself.
