I’m not upset that you’re older than me... that you can legally drive in mainland Europe when I can’t and you can drink at my house in public and I can’t. Also that you’re taller than me now... Nope. Not upset about any of that at all. No siree...

Understatement of the century, more like. Like, does it even matter if I do anything?

Because no one would notice. Unless it inconveniences them. And who wants to live in a world where you only inconvenience other people. Not much of a living if you ask me.

♔ How does your character usually dress for a fancy event?

Depends on how fancy. If it’s something like a world meeting he’ll just wear a button up with a sweater vest and some slacks. If he were to be performing in a concert, he’d be in his concert blacks. For state events and celebrations he’ll gussy up to the nines in a tux. ✗ What (if any) scars does your character have?   

OH! I HAVE AN IMAGE FOR THIS! I’ll also just c/p what I have written about that from his hc page:  Emil doesn’t boast battle scars in the same way other nations do. He wasn’t as involved in battle in his history as the other Nordics and the rest of the world. The only “battle” scar he has is a fading one on his right temple. It was from the Turkish raids on the island in the 15th century. A pirate bashed Egill in the side of the head, knocking the boy unconscious and leaving him for dead.

He does however have some scars peppering his skin from the various volcanic eruptions he’s had during his life. They look a little like bullet scars. The bigger the scar, the bigger the eruption. Laki’s eruption scar is the biggest and rests on his left side. There’s a long scar running up his spine reflecting how his land is literally ripping itself in half  

I remember a while ago I said it was like me and Nor were running on different wavelengths. If that were us, then you and I run on a similar wavelength. Or at least one going in the same direction.

I feel like you’re the only one out of us 5 that actually take the time to listen to me and my thoughts and feelings. You don’t try to bulldoze your own emotions over mine or get me to feel or say or do something that you want me to do. And if I do say or do something wrong, you explain why it’s wrong instead of just getting angry or upset.

You’re the calm among the storm of us Nordics. And I can’t tell you how much I appreciate that.

You’ll never replace Nor as my brother or Dan as... whatever the hell he is to me. But you’re my uncle. My favorite uncle. Do I have more than just you? Hell, this is going off from what I was getting at...

Listen, Ber, you’re my favorite uncle and I can honestly say my life is so much better than it probably would be without you in it.

I don’t really feel the need to swap heights. I’m happy where I am middle of the road height-wise. 

And mun would need the cooperation of another person to make that work ;;;;;

There’s a lot of weird stuff about Sve. First off, he looks like he could 100% utterly destroy you, right? But he unironically listens to and loves Sweden’s Top 40 radio stations. ABBA, A-Ha, Nanne Grönvall, Avicii, Lykke Li, you name it, he loves it. He knows all their songs by heart. And when they come on the radio, he will belt it out like he’s trying out for Sweden’s Got Talent or something. And the reason why I know all of this is because he does this. Often. 

And have you seen some of the stuff IKEA puts out!? This man is probably behind it. I mean look at this!!

And this is a chair!!

What part of these look remotely like normal furniture!? They don’t. They look like they came from an alien planet.

So yeah. Sve might look stoic and reserved and scary and stuff. But he’s not. He’s weird and a big dork. Just like everyone else in this family.

I love teasing him!

I don’t normally like teasing people unless it’s my family, but I just can’t help it with him! He gives the best reactions! And the fact he lets me do it over and over again is part of why I keep coming back. He makes it so easy!

Bas, please be more cautious of people! Please!

But in all honesty, he’s one of the few people outside the family that does talk to me like I’m worth something. Like I’m not just a little kid. And I really appreciate that. So thanks. 

And sorry, but not sorry, about the liquorice chocolate.

REALLY annoying.

Mathias is loud and bouncy and just so full of energy. Everything that I’m not.

But, despite all that he’s warm and caring. If he says he’s gonna do something for you, he’ll put his all into doing it or die trying. Not really the best route for self-preservation, but it’s... nice. It’s nice to know that someone puts their all into caring for people they like.

And I know he’s got my back if I’m ever in trouble. Mat’s really freaking scary when he’s mad. And when he’s angry and protective at the same time. Just... yikes. Watch out or your head will be leaving your shoulders.

So is he obnoxious? Absolutely. Does he make me feel like I’m losing my mind? Every single day. Would I have him any other way? Hell no.
