[Undertronic] Angelique & Emilienne

XD I haven't followed you back yet/scrolled through your blog but I also sent you a song through my main. (Honestly any song has the potential to be my type of song - I'm not picky xP)

Have not listened to Taylor Swift in a Minute, though lol. Hmm....

I have a lot of couples, I've realized, but not very many with a thought-out romantic history. xP This may be another 'gotta twist it a little & apply it to a platonic relationship' song lol.

Hm.

No wait! It's kind of theoretical (at least right now), but I do have a romantic relationship that this could fit.

Emilienne & Nissa.

Their relationship was ... A Lot. XD They were young, and a little dumb, and Nissa was straight out of a Terrible-with-a-capital-T situation & they probably shouldn't have gone right from barely-more-than-acquaintances to lovers but. Again. Young & a little dumb.

So of course there was drama & loud arguments in the middle of the night (& possibly some literal cursing, being some sort of magic-users xP).

And eventually they broke up, & Nissa took off somewhere & Emilienne winds up pregnant (with one of the MCs of the actual project, I'm just very attached to Nissa & Em) & honestly I'm not sure how long the baby's father stuck around bc he's definitely not around when the story starts & I really didn't put much thought into him, but.

Theoretically, it could have been a very nice little romance. He could have been the type of guy to open his date's door for her & tell her she looks beautiful & make nice with her parents & everything else.

And I can see Em just ... hanging out with him, maybe with their baby, maybe not even pregnant yet, thinking about Nissa, wondering where she is now, what she's doing, and god, but she misses having that passion, the intensity of every feeling, every word. Misses the quiet moments - braiding Nissa's hair, talking magic & technology & art & everything in between - and the loud - the radio turned up as loud as it could go while they cooked/danced/kissed, the storms they'd run out in the middle of just because they could. I can see her realizing she even misses the way they knew exactly which buttons to press to get certain reactions - if I say this in that tone of voice, you'll go cold and angry and your eyes will flash just like that, and if you do this one thing I'll snap like that - and how often they'd do it, for the same reasons they ran outside in the rain. Just because they could.
