Hi. This isn't super urgent. But it's affecting me a lot. I saw my 81 year old great grandmother break a vertebrae and crack her skull open. It was a traumatic experience because there was so much blood I threw up. I called into work to be with her in the hospital And my dad told me I was an idiot. I'm scare for her health and it's affecting my mental health because when I close my eyes to go to bed all I see is blood. (Please tag as Emiliee.)
Hi love,
It can be so hard when we see someone we love get hurt it can take such a toll on our emotional and mental well being. I hope your great grandmother is recovering and doing well! You are definitely not an idiot love, it's normal to feel these things and have these images in your head for a long time after the incident and I'm afraid you cant just tell them to leave and they'll go away the only answer is to give it time. As she gets better and stronger you'll eventually stop having these images. I definitely think you could help from talking to someone like a therapist, they're trained in helping you talk through what you're feeling and help you find strategies to overcome the feelings you get and make it easier to deal with while you're still seeing these images.
I'm sure your great grandmother is in the best possible care for herself at the moment! I remember a time when my grandad fell down some steps and he too cracked his skull open my whole family were panicked for weeks but he, like all grandparents, is strong and a fighter, it takes a while to recover as their bodies need a bit more time to heal but they will heal and I'm sure she'll be as right as rain in no time! Giving her a lot of family support and love will really help her through this time and encourage her to get better as well!
I hope your great grandmother is feeling better soon lovely!
Lots of love sweetie,
Paige (:
I keep having the same nightmares. My boyfriend has a girl on the side. I live 15 miles away and I don't have a car. I'm working a full time job to help him pay for school. I'm scared that when I'm not here he is talking to other girls. I don't know what to do. I've told him about the nightmares but he always tells me I'm silly and to hush up. What do I do? -Emiliee
Hi love,
I would get away from this guy, he sounds like bad news in my opinion. Having a girl on the side should never be something that is okay, you should be able to satisfy his needs, and if he isn’t satisfied, you need to find someone who is better for you, and cares about you, and only you. He seems to only care about himself, and you deserve so much better than that love, I feel like he may be using you for money or other things, I think its best to get away from him
Emotional abuse is defined as: “any kind of abuse that is emotional rather than physical in nature. It can include anything from verbal abuse and constant criticism to more subtle tactics, such as intimidation, manipulation, and refusal to ever be pleased.” Physical abuse is the use of constant violence towards another. If you find yourself in either of those situations, it’s even more of a reason to get out of this relationship. As far as nightmares go, it shows that there is some kind of stress coming from this relationship, possibly causing the nightmares. I think its best you get away from this guy for the sake of your health as well. I know it seems tough, but I promise youll be a lot happier in the long run without him, he really seems like not a great guy.
