The fact that you have said that it takes about 10-15 hrs for smth like you recently did, made me realize that maybe I actually probably perhaps could make a comic series of my own. Annd then i remember that you also need to be patient and persevere in your goal; telling a story. ;w;
I mean, there’s no reason you can’t! :)
Keep in mind, however, that taking less time on something is a developed skill as well. I have learned many shortcuts over the years, I know my programs and I know how to streamline things. That kind of thing isn’t often considered when people set out to make comics.
Comics ARE fun, and they ARE rewarding, and they’re also difficult and time consuming and incredibly technical. These things are often at odds, but don’t be scared off. Instead, think smaller! It’s easier to draw one short comic, and then a longer one, and then a slightly longer one, than it is to try to draw an epic series without even warming up and then get burnt out.
