An article and free pattern from Kim Salazar on a piece of pre-1600 voided work. Â (Technically, Voided Work is not the same as Assisi Work).This is a fascinating piece as the stitches are pulled tightly, giving a pulled work appearance as well. Â This piece is not worked in cross stitch, though you could work it using that stitch if you like, but the tight pulling of the stitches won't work with that.
