This self portrait was inspired by a conversation with a couple of friends in recent days. Because of health precautions in California due to the coronavirus many of us have had to miss visits to our hair stylists. One of my friends sighed about how long her hair is now, the other says she is unrecognizable since her hair has turned white as snow. Well, my response is that I have practically evolved - I took the scissors and chopped off most of my hair and found an expanse of white stuff below.
