Oooo spooky! Love the thought of Colt being scary generally!
Colt vaguely registering that Jody is looking right at her, and looking at her curiously, something in him vaguely flagging that he likes looking at her, her presence makes him feel calm and safe.
Jody seeing Colt do the horror movie head turn. Looking straight at her with clouded, dead eyes. Not his usual rage, but something even more unsettling. Without the rage, nothing is left, nothing at all. After a second, he drifts closer and stares, mild curiosity poking through the haze, a moth hypnotized by a lamp.
Then he goes back to stalking Tom, leaving Jody shaken and trembling on the spot. That isn’t Colt anymore, Colt as she knew him when he was alive is dead and gone. No, it IS him, she knows it in her heart, but he’s been mangled into something barely recognizable, and Jody wishes that he had stayed dead.
Colt came back to Jody after he died, but he came back wrong.
I keep thinking about this and ouagh. Knowing that Jody believes Colt wouldn't hurt a fly, and then seeing how he acts as a ghost is just augh. From a joyful, excited man to an angry shell of a ghost,,, rotating him in my mind
I imagine Jody would try reaching out to him (both literally and verbally) and thats what sparks his curiosity and later hazey memories of her. But, before they could interact more, someone walks into the room, scaring Jody, and when she turns back around Colt is gone
Not entirely sure how they would be able to communicate (if at all) yet. Ouija board? Pendulum yes/no board? Radio? Lights? Writing on a foggy mirror?? Still figuring it out
