So I get on Tumblr to see @paperlesscrown has made a ‘Hustlers’ Playlist, right? Well without perusing the actual list (because of course my thumbs just go-go-gadget at the sheer mention of a Hustlers playlist made by this goddess), I get CRAZY excited. I scroll further down her page to see that several people have sent her song requests (which I ALSO do not read through thoroughly— what is wrong with me, huh?! I need to learn to READ thoroughly before interacting in any way.)
Anyway, I frantically send paperless Liz an ask detailing my fav strip club song. Feeling smug as a bug in a dirty, filthy rug, I log out to eat dinner. In the meantime, she answers my ask with all the politeness of the 5 star lady of class she is (I have no reason to believe that she would answer in any other way; she’s the nicest human lady on this earth and all other earths.)
Anyway— [aside to self] wrap this up, Alison, you’re getting wordy AF.
Long story short, I FINALLY read the other song recs and, whew....I was waaayyyyy off on the style of Hustlers music that was going down on The Tumblr and The Spotify. While I LOVE the song recs sent, they’re not what weazled their way into my brain at the time; The style was more PCD, JLO, Ariana Grande, Cardi B and, well, I send her a freaking STEVIE STONE/Tech N9ne song! Legit the dirtiest, nastiest song ever! I am soooo embarrassed! I facepalmed my face in the parking lot of the restaurant.
My sweet, innocent Liz, I’ve poisoned your virgin ears with my heathen music! 😂 I’m so so sorry!
