🎨 Painted 2015 - don't I look sad! 💙 The hair is a wig to make me look like my 14 year old self. My actual hair back then was a bit frizzier & without the fringe. I was named Slash by lads at school as they thought I looked so much like him (Guns N' Roses guitarist). This is a truly 'behind the scenes' reference photo!!! 💫This painting is one of two (diptych) with me 20years apart. I love the genre of self-portraiture, especially Frida Kahlo's work.
