âť„ - Staying close to them to keep warm
“Come on Emma…. we’ll have to leave here one day…” He tried to pull away, but every time he did that, Emma just pulled him back, clinging to him. “If we stay here any longer, people will start search parties, you know.”, he chuckled, but he indulged her and wrapped his arms around her again to share the body warmth that they had. It was cold out here in the woods and he was pretty sure that they would be in trouble if they both hadn’t been supernatural. “I can get us back to town before we get too cold, I promise. No?” Emma had shaken her head, refusing to leave the somewhat covered spot in between a few trees they had found when the snowstorm hit. “Fine…”, Zach admitted, giving up his attempts to leave. “But you’re responsible for what happens when both Erik and Jace find each other when they’re looking for us.
âśš - Bandaging their wound
“You’re turning the tables, you know… Usually I’m the one patching others up.” He was sitting on a table while Emma was standing in front of him, bandaging the wound that didn’t want to heal on his arm. He hissed when she touched it. “Sorry… vervain. It just doesn’t want to heal until it’s totally out of my system and with the amounts they gave me… Wait…” He stopped her for a moment. “You need to put it on the other way around, that’s better for the circulation.” He winced when she put the bandage over the wound. Every moment still hurt from what the hunters had done to him until Emma managed to get him out. It was strange, even needing someone to take care of him. “You know… I’ve never appreciated vampire healing as much as I do now. What should I do without you to look after me.”, he winked, smiling, even when every movement still hurt like hell. He owed her big… “Thanks…”
