“I’m trying to put this as delicately as I can… How do I know you won’t kill me in my sleep?“ (From my night elf, Valdena, @elvenmoon)
Firefly pt. 1 … Sentence Starters
Void-fused, skin dark as the abyssal night, a sharp ear flinched in the direction of the careful voice delivered to the Warlock. The rotted corpses of mindless Scourge lay unmoving on Stormwind’s cobblestone streets, devoid of even their faux animation. What energy that remained was stolen away in delicate crystals within the courier’s lacy fingertips, carefully stored away. Even nearby guard gave her a wary stare as the void energies dissipated from her flesh, returning her to the natural lavender hue of her skin.
“With all due respect...” the Void Elf replied with an empty, thin smile, “I don’t know where you sleep.” A bit too terse of a response, Safrona inhaled and subdued her annoyance at possible paranoia of her presence as Ren’dorei. When her voice came again, it was smooth as night silk, calm, and neutral. “I don’t make a habit of murdering people I do not know overall. Quite unprofessional. Unless you are a mindless ghoul intent on cannibalizing me?” She tilted her head to reference the corpses she had neutralized being dragged away to a bonfire. “We may have a problem then.”
Safrona took a moment to smooth down her robes, fix her gloves, and attended again to her datapad, a flat device cradled in her arm of some Ethereal make. “Forgive me if I startled, yes? It is quite the mess here.”
