                He isn’t even opening his eyes completely, just accepting as well as enjoying the other male’s closeness, pulling one arm of Cas’ around his hip. “I know.” He mutters. “I could get used to it.” He adds, giggling a bit. He isn’t caring much about the fact that he was the little spoon in this. He wants Caspar safe and close to him as often as it could be possible. “Hey -- how about you moving in here? There’s enough space for the two of us.” He suggests out of nowhere.

Alec is selfish. He’s definitely learning and he never completely disregarded other people’s wants or needs, but he is. He grew up in eichen. A majority of the staff doesn’t care for their patients and are just there for the experience. The staff wants to move on. People came and left all the time. Alec never had to worry about anyone else while in eichen. He didn’t see the stilinskis as family. He didn’t have many friends and the few staff members that Alec liked didn’t need his help. Alec only had to worry about himself. He had to be careful and avoid violent patients. He had to be selfish in eichen and he could. So it’s difficult for him to put others first. He’s learning, but it’s not easy for him.
