I asked my asuran friend Zznaf what he does for pleasure in his free time recently. It is an interesting question to ask of an asuran, as they tend to give all other races the impression that thy don't need leisure time. Zznaf replied:

Oh, I most certainly take time to relax! I just tend not to journal such things because they probably would be of little interest to those who read my travels. 

I’m not much for ale (though apple cider is nice), but I do enjoy reading fictional works from time to time. You can learn just as much about society from legends and stories as you can from studying database tablets. I also enjoy listening to storytellers engage in spoken story… which doesn’t happen as much for Asura as for other races. 

I spend time in meditation when I can, just to relax. There’s so much information, but it can’t all be properly processed if you’re just running around gathering more. I suppose that’s why you see a lot of theories and thoughts in my journals, which I tend to take back with me and think more about when I can. 

Oh. I like music of many kinds and I love to dance! 

Music, you say? I imagine our tastes would be very different. I have an ear for rowdy drinking and pirate songs myself. However, believe it or not, we do agree on meditation. It cleanses the soul and brings you closer to your animal spirit. Meditations on Raven often bring me great wisdom, and occasionally, a little extra patience.

There is a shrine to Grenth near the Cathedral of Silence. Those of you explorers who, like me, have hunted this far into the bowels of Orr all know about it. I happened to stumble on the temple today just when the Avatar of Grenth himself showed up!

As it turns out, I don't fair very well against fades and spirits with nothing but pistols in my hands.

That means she can't follow users, can't like posts, and she can't send personal asks.

That's why I like things in Elsi's place, follow all the Guild Wars 2 blogs on my main account, and why she asks questions anonymously. I'll always tag her questions with her signature for you, though!

And never fear, as I'm sure you know, Elsibeth can reblog like a pro and answer questions sent to her with no problems.

The same would be true should I ever fall in love with one of my alternate in game characters enough to create a blog for them. I'm only in it for the tag blogs.

Just saying, don't take it the wrong way that Elsi never follows back. She just can't. And if some odd ball with a braid follows you instead, hey, you know I'm watching!

And as always, thanks for following us guys, and for role playing along with us when you get the chance. It makes GW2 and Tumblr far more fun :D

Hail friend skritt! I've spoken with many skritt in my travels, but I have never received mail from one before! Your people can be most helpful in locating lost things -- even if in most cases some skritt is the one who misplaced it.

Or, I should say, skritt have been very helpful in helping lady norn find lost shinies.

How many skritts tall am I? It depends how tall the skritt are who are standing on each other! If the skritt were 3 foot tall, it would take two and a half of you or so to look me in the eyes.

As far as how many skritts to weigh what I weigh. Well now. Skinny skirtts or well fed skritts? And are the skritts in a pile with their shinies? I know you don't like leaving your shinies, my fuzzy little friend!

That is an intrinsic flaw in projectile-based weaponry owing to their primitive nature. For this reason I would recommend weapons which discharge energy as opposed to ones which fling matter. Arcane energies in particular are much more easily replenished and recycled.Here are a few models which closely mimic the more basic hand-held projectile devices that you are probably familiar with:

Glyphic Pistol

Destroyer Pistol

Corrupted Revolver

Fractal Pistol
