“STEPPING THROUGH PORTALS”

Southern California artist Else One is the creative force behind Neighborhood Love, created to promote local artists, and unite neighborhoods by creating opportunities for communities to showcase their talent and their culture. A few years ago Else / Neighborhood Love had the idea of “throwing a paint jam” to bring friends together but was concerned that finding enough wall space in the same area might be a challenge in LA—Las Vegas proved to be the perfect option and in Spring, 2016 Viva Las Vandals was born. STP (aka Setting the Pace, aka Stepping Through Portals) Crew began in 1987, so when invited to participate in the second annual Viva Las Vandals in 2017 the crew celebrated their 30th anniversary with this work on Imperial Ave. at Main St. in the Las Vegas arts district. The roll of individual artists involved fills both sides of the utility box in front of the wall serving notice to the depth of STP talent. @else_oner @official_neighborhood_love @stpcrew
