This week felt like the loooongest of my life, but it was also filled with lots of love and humanity. This fandom made my birthday beyond special and I desperately want to send some of that magic right back. 🦄 ✨

A couple stories from last week’s list got updated including Practice Makes Perfect  by @kelleesioverhere and the overstay by resident BAMF @watersandwolves. I cannot gush about this story enough. It’s a canon-verse AU where Arya and Gendry reunite in the Riverlands years after being separated and it’s just incredible. There’s a beautiful - if solemn - wintery backdrop to a story of reconnection, friendship and family..and it’s one of the most beautifully written stories I have ever read. Can’t wait for the next chapter!

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I first clicked on this but it absolutely blew me away. It’s very short (too short in my opinion!!) but it packs a formidable punch in terms of prose and feeling and just ridiculous hotness. You can also just feel the love oozing in this and I am beyond excited that there will be 26 parts to this (for every letter of the alphabet!) It’s truly a treat.

Gendrya proposals are kind of my biggest romance kink of all time and Kat just blew this one out of the water. So much about this window into their established relationship is sweet, and wonderful and so very Gendrya. 1400 words of pure fluff and food for the heart.

Anyone who follows me knows just how obsessed i am with the help! universe @fineosaur has created, but then she slams me with this Gendrya prequel to another amazing story she’s working on and it‘s everything I could hope for and more. Nobody creates an atmosphere like @fineosaur, and the smut is hot as always. Seriously a great way to end your week.

Everything my soul sister writes is gold, but this is just…chef’s 💋. It’s chock-full of *my* favorite tropes and kinks, but I’m certain this sweet, calm tale of Gendry missing Arya will satisfy anyone’s palate. I’ll be rereading this one for weeks to come and I think you will too!

This author (and my lovely friend) is a master…a veritable master of angst and hurt/comfort. This little slice of established Gendrya has that + a genuinely heart wrenching take on Arya’s insecurities. It’s all my favorite things rolled into one and tied with a beautiful angsty bow. Truly a great fic.

I don’t think I need to explain to anyone how absolutely incredible the took the long road universe is…and yet…this completely shook me. I was *not* expecting to get this beautiful slice of Arya and Gendry’s life post-roadtrip but @lightninginabottle0613 delivers (AS ALWAYS). I was tearing up by the end and also smiling like a fool and that’s just testament to her writing so do yourself a favor and read it. No excuses. Full stop 🛑

secret moments in a crowded room by @chasingforeverandaday

This update is reflective of my manifestation powers (no lie). I’d been wishing for this since I read the first chapter and oh my god is it exactly what I wanted. Hot, sweet, and perfectly Arya and Gendry down to the “Gendry and I are betrothed” announcement to the family…and Robert losing his sh*t. I’m venturing into spoiler territory here but that’s just how hype this fic makes me. I’ll stop rambling so you can get to reading it!!
