The finished redesign for Elonra Trevelyan and Blackwall.Â
It was fun thinking of ways to make each costume uniquely suit its wearer. The waving arms of Elonra’s shoulder pieces, for example, are supposed to be reminiscent of the Inquisition’s sigil. Blackwall’s epaulette is also decorated with a bird of prey, a marker of his loyalty to the Grey Wardens. She was also supposed to have a very ornate Orlesian-styled mask (bordered with more of the waving spikes, like her shoulder pieces), but I couldn’t make it work. A mask for Blackwall was never under any consideration.
