when it came down to the bare essentials, were they alike? was there anything remotely similar between the two? he, who thrived in combat and the risk of it all. she, who was dragged into conflicts not her own and trusted to aide. perhaps, she always finds herself pondering this, it’s not about their combat viewpoints that may be similar. it’s the viewpoint of family, yes, that’s the similarity they have.

divinity,  to its very core  , was immaculate. it was untaintable ( or so it would be believed. )  after coming across her missing half in a role unfit for someone such as him, she began to think. this thinking led to a shake in the very foundation of her being  :  if he can become evil,  then so can she.   

❛  i know that’s meant to be reassuring but —  ❜  but what? there was nothing hidden within the statement, nothing meant to drive her pondering into a further spiral. yet .. she still has one thing to make certain of.
