Eh... I’m trying to let go of my follower count being any reflection of me, if that makes any sense. Like, people don’t have to follow me. They don’t have to like me, either, but when I see those sudden drops it is hard to let go of, “ - but what did I do?”
So, like, it makes me kinda sad, but it’s something I’m working on.

📸- Elizebella because hiiiiii, I'm slowly peeking my head out from the other side of recovering from losing so many loved ones last year.
Risri scanned the park’s horizon almost ready to call it a day when Lady Ludlow passed through her viewfinder. The wave was just in time to be caught as she snapped the picture.
(sorry this took so long to get back to, thanks for your patience and also belated Welcome Back! *hugs* you were missed!)
Amelia tore through the woods, trailing on the faint scent of the vintner and the hounds that followed. Her claws stirring up the dirt, pushing through the thicket. What was left of her fine dress was being shredded and snagging on random branches and briars along the way. She hears the hooves of Elizebella’s horse meet with the hardened dirt of the road. Amelia sped up in attempts to catch up, but her energy was beginning to wane.
The sun slipped below the treeline light of day vanished in the already darkened forest as if it was never there. Howling came from the distance and the young worgen’s worst nightmares began unfolding before her very eyes. Her eyes briefly met with the pack of hounds as she was slowly catching up. Further up the road, her eyes managed to catch a glimpse of the vintner’s red dress flowing from the back of her steed. She wanted to scream, but she knew if Elizebella stopped or slowed she would be met by the nightbane that were now hunting her.
Suddenly one of the hounds cried out in pain. Amelia’s eyes locked onto the two nightbane and lunged toward them with all her might, digging her claws into the one that hovered over the hound, stopping its attempt to rip it apart. The other five hounds jumped into the pile. Snarls, growls, whimpers, and cries filled the woods. She gave it her all, knowing that she alone could not hold them long. For all that Elizebella had done for her, she was willing to die, even for just enough time to allow her to escape. The largest bit down on her shoulder, causing the young worgen to whimper out. Her instincts kicked in and eyed his unguarded neck. Before he could stop her fangs sunk into his vulnerable flesh and he howled out in pain.
The sound ended nearly as quickly as it began and Ameila now hovered over the lifeless body of the first nightbane with her muzzle dripping with blood. Thick crimson poured from the tear in its throat, saturating the road as she looked up to see the hounds being tossed around by the second nightbane. Finally free of the grip of the heavily injured hounds, he took off into the woods, again after the vintner. Unable to stop, Amelia rushed passed the near lifeless, whimpering dogs in pursuit of the second feral worgen. She ventured behind him deep into the southern part of the forest, both leaving spots of blood behind from their injuries, into the
Upon closing in on the second nightbane, Ameila lept and sunk her claws and teeth into his back. Immediately, the nightbane growled out and slung her several feet back. Amelia whimpered out as her back struck a tree. She opened her eyes to the sight of him lunging straight at her. “Please le’ her be safe.” Amelia’s hoarse worgen voice panted out just before the pain of fangs struck her.

Dawn had struck early on the beaches of Tanaris, six tolls of the Matron's Grace morning bells to be exact. Sprankles and Manny had spent the night on a small patch of land would could not even consider an actual island at all. Lucky for them, they didn't have to swim far back to the beach shore and were on the boat with plenty enough time to ready themselves for the fine breakfast they served, and then ate themselves after. With her belly full, and her spirits high, Sprankles headed up to the top deck after breakfast was over. Manny had stayed below, retreating for the time being to their room to tinker with something or the other.
It was quiet for the most part, save for the soft music that played upon the ship, compliments of the Skyfall Intelligent Jukebox. This gave the little gnome much time to think and reflect, not only on the mini vacation they had all just taken, but on life as a whole and how wonderful it was for her at the moment. She had a cave full of gold and treasure tucked away secretly in a cave in Northrend that she had collected over many years of exploration, some tucked away at her home in Elwynn, the best boyfriend a gnome could ask for, and she worked for the kindest woman she perceived to be on Azeroth who owned the fairest company she had ever worked for too: Elizebella Ludlow and Ludlow Vineyards.
Wondering had been mostly what she had done until she came under Lady Ludlows employ, traversing the world and seeing all its wonders and eccentricities. But as most intelligent gnomes go, Sprankles not being an acception, she knew there were times of rest that were needed so that when adventuring brewed in the veins again, every sight they had seen once before became new again. So to settle down for the time being it was with Ludlow Vineyards, and she couldn't be happier with her choice.
Lady Ludlow really wasn't like any other noble she had met, and in a sense reminded her of the kind-hearted Admiral she use to work beneath, only with a less foul mouth and Elizebella wore more modest clothing. But still, the noblewoman treated all her employees fairly and it seemed she deemed people of all walks of life worthy of employ with her ever growing company. To say the human woman had a forgiving heart was an understatement. She was one who didn't have to demand her respect by threats and fear, but earned it through love and genuine compassion of others.
A happy sigh loosed from the gnome's lips as she climbed the mast and huddled herself into the crows nest awaiting for midday when she would be needed again for lunchtime. Most would have been soured they had to work on such a beautiful cruise, but not Sprankles. She was being paid handsomely for her services, and got to enjoy time to herself, and was even allowed to bring Manny along with her to help her work and so that they could have time together. He, too, was paid a good deal for serving aboard the cruise and upon the beach, and honestly the work wasn't hard, and Elizebella excused them from it more than they actually worked. Right down to the folk who cleaned and washed the dishes, had a good and merry time of laughter, food, drink and good times. And not a copper was paid out of their pockets for it either. They were all able to eat, drink, and enjoy to their hearts' desire, simply because they were employees.
These thoughts drew Sprankles back to the time of the horrible robbery of the winery, and it truly made her wonder what kind of terrible person would want to rip off someone as kind and generous as Elizebella. If they were hungry, thirsty, or just outright poor and had simply asked for help, the gnome had full confidence they would've been given all the things they would have needed at the time and then more, recalling their Alms for the Poor events held by Madam Bridgeton, and how that little woman herself had sewn bags and shirts until her fingers were sore, just to help others. She had also remembered the great lengths that Elizebella had went through after her employee, Kendra Gallows, was recovered to ensure the woman got proper medical treatment so that she could heal up quickly and properly.
That to her is what Ludlow Vineyards was. It wasn't just a company that was out to make the quickest bit of gold it could. It was a company that while it received a good bit from the community, always gave so much more back to it, and not just to the wealthy. It was truly hardly for the wealthy ever, even their friends.. But it was the downtrodden and unlucky who garnered the most from the vineyards as a whole. She admired Elizebella's mission for that, to always help those in need and never see anyone as being above or below you.
It was then as the slow lull of a nap started to move over her that the gnome decided, if all she ever did in life for gold was work for Lady Ludlow, she could be content and happy. She would defend the company until her legs and lungs gave way should the time arise, and would do so with bravery and no second guesses, and gnomes often -always- had second guesses. A warm smile crossed her sleepy face as she thought of Lady Ludlow coming into her own shop to check it out for it was open, and all the sound business advice she had offered her. The noblewoman didn't even ask for anything in return for it either, and Sprankles thought that was so very nice and happy-hearted. The memory of Elizebella falling and injuring herself in the winery came to her then. Everyone was so worried and none wanted to leave the woman's side. It wasn't because they were afraid they would be punished for allowing it to happen either, but because they all truly loved the woman. They loved her because she loved them, and they knew it.
Now, as a light morning sleep was taking her into its arms finally, all she could think about was just how wonderful it all was at the moment.
“Elizebella Ludlow is truly a brilliant and lovely individual. Her passion and talent with creating wines is something I can truly appreciate and admire. Her noble demeanor and kind heart are deserving of equal praise. I do hope one day to do business with Elizebella...and to meet Merlot...I hear she’s spoils the sweet thing rotten and I so do love dogs.”
