Dangers That Lurk the Night ✗ Elijah and Katherine;
After her day with Damon, Katherine had spent her time at the lake house just waiting for danger to arrive, or even Damon himself. When two days had passed by, Katherine believed that the vampire he had sent instructions to, had decided to flee instead of follow orders. For Katherine, that was good news because she didn't have to be stuck in the lake house for long and no one had to baby sit her. So here she was, currently at the Mystic Bar, flirting with her favorite doppelganger's ex and hoping for more free alcohol.
When she was banned from any more drinks due to scaring off the customers, Katherine just pouted and placed a few bills that should be enough to cover her. Luckily she didn't have to drive, not that she had anything to worry about. The past couple of days had been both confusing but relieving in a sense. No threats to watch out for--at least she didn't think so, otherwise she would have been long dead, back at the lake house.
While trying to gather herself, Katherine waved good bye to the handsome bartender before making her way out. Her vision blurred just a bit, but she was still steady on her feet. However, the paranoia crept up on her and she suddenly wished Stefan or Damon were around. The fresh air that greeted her the moment she stepped out felt good to her, and it sort of sobered her even. Katherine wondered if it should be a good idea to head back to the Salvatore's or back into the bar just so she could call Stefan or Damon to pick her up. All thoughts had disappeared when she recognized one of the vampires from her past. The same one that was ready to kill her and would have succeeded if it weren't for Damon.
Stopping in her tracks, Katherine found her heart racing and it terrified her because she was on her own. How was she supposed to out run a supernatural being, and that too on foot? Which is why she turned around and made her way back into the bar. Would he attack her with people around? She didn't think so. At least this way she'd be able to talk to Matt and ask him to call Stefan or Damon.
As soon as she entered, Katherine found herself colliding into someone in front of her. With her thoughts on the vampire, she hadn't been watching where she was going so as she straightened up and held onto one of the chairs to keep herself from falling, she was surprised to see that her literal run in, had been with Elijah. "Elijah--" was all she had managed to say but the worry and fear was present on her face.
