Dear Gus & Magnus,

Magnus's Octonauts-themed party was a hit, complete with a Kwazii cake that Nene made. Lots of friends came and played in the two pools we set up. The only real issue we ran into was the big kids throwing water bombs too hard at the little kids, but we mostly stopped it before it got out of hand.

This party has been the major responsibility on our radar for a while, so it's nice to get it behind us. Well, I guess THE major responsibility is that I need to find a job, but the major domestic responsibility...

Honestly even if you don’t listen to the full thing it’s worth it for Sammy he’s a little bitch and I love him and he’s in the first scene or two <3

Today was a big day that started with Magnus's soccer game at 8.30. Gus (and Mom) worked on his "Cereal Box" project for school. Gus & William spent the night with Isaac Strong, so we decided it might be a good night for Eli Strong to come have a sleepover with Magnus -- a first for both of them. They had a big time.

The PHE Family Valentine's Dance was tonight. Magnus stuck to my leg like glue...until Eli showed up.

PLANTAR WART UPDATE: My foot felt well enough that when I took Magnus to baseball practice, I ran laps around the field. Ended up going 2.24 miles. I'm thrilled about being able to move again.

Magnus has a hard time focusing on the sport at hand -- be it soccer, baseball, etc. At tonight's practice, he and Eli ended up mostly hugging.

Gus had soccer after school/work this afternoon. Mags and Eli were bored, so I walked them over to the river where we found a couple of cool shells and a golf ball.

They are both getting so big.

Dear Gus & Magnus,

I left early this morning to catch a flight to Denver, where I'll meet with our water team over the next couple of days to discuss the Garver brand in Colorado and get some footage/photos of our team there. Meanwhile back at the ranch, this photo showed up on our Ridgeway Drive text thread. I'm so thankful you two get to grow up on the same section of the street as lots of other kids with parents we like. I can't wait to see what the recreation of this picture looks like in 15 years.

Impromptu street party after work. In addition to Magnus and Martin, the baby group tonight also included Gracie and Eli (both pictured), as well as Alex and Ginny. This street is really going to be rocking in a few years.
