pre-blocking. i don’t know how long i want the arms so they’re both on stitch savers but i think i’m going to end up doing another ten-ish rows of the pattern before i do the cuffs.

first sleeve done!

what’s the word for when you’re homesick for somewhere that’s not your home? had a bunch of minnesota content pop up on instagram today and i miss it. so i’m knitting the north road headband and making a fall soup from this cookbook while i watch the wild.

finished the body last weekend and wove in all the ends tonight. can’t find the needles for the sleeves right now so those have to wait until i figure out where i set them down

sweater update. the equal proportions of the purple and yellow bother me but not enough to redo it. the other arm will be orange/grey/red and then i’ll redo the bottom band before i do the neckline

snow dress update! putting the sleeves on was a very “trust the process” thing for me because i could not imagine it at all. i didn’t do the magic loop as recommended because i already had the skirt on a long cable and it does take some maneuvering to not have too much tension when you knit around the arms but it’s working out fine. i’m still aiming to have this done by the end of the month.
