☠ - angry/violent headcanon

Daisy

In general, Daisy is pretty hard to read on whether or not she's actually angry. One of her biggest strengths is her unpredictability. She might seem angry when greeting you, but that's usually just her aggressive positivity shining through. When she's frustrated, she yells a lot and gets really heated, but that usually doesn't result in much. Why does she do this? Mostly for laughs. However... there are a few ways to tell whether or not she's ACTUALLY mad.

One thing is that she's eerily quiet. She puts on her usual smile and just... stalks around you... kinda like a tiger. That's unsettling enough on its own, but usually, she won't do anything since her presence ALONE can cause anyone to stop being rude. BUUUUT...

For those rare cases where someone decided NOT to do that... let's just say it ended in a literal bloodbath. If she's pushed far enough, Daisy goes into a blind rage and goes absolutely BERSERK. She doesn't even have to use a weapon; she becomes the weapon. Punches, kicking, biting, scratching, the whole nine yards! And trying to get her off won't do any good either because she's been known to attack whoever's pulling at her. Things only settle down once she's exhausted herself of any energy (surprisingly).

As for what gets her to that point? It's Luigi. It's always Luigi. Daisy loves her little green bean more than anything, and she'll be damned if she let anything happen to him. Yeah, she also gets furious if any of her other friends are hurt, but even those can't compare to how violent she is when defending Luigi.

Peasley

The weird thing about Peasley is that he actually doesn't get angry like you'd expect. At most, he'll get annoyed (usually by Daisy's antics or something), but he'll never raise his voice. (God help us if he actually DOES get to that point 😬).

Even when he DOES get mad, he's really quiet about it (just like Daisy). However, unlike her, his presence alone isn't enough to deter anyone from doing whatever it is they're doing... but his sword does.

He doesn't say anything when he uses his sword either. If anything, his face is entirely blank, devoid of any emotion. He just stares straight through you, sword in hand. He actually follows through with using it, too... mostly as a taunt.

Now... when he's pushed too far, there's no more taunting. He's full-on stabbing and he whips out those bombs he's been packing for some time. And again... he's never yelling at you throughout all of this. BUT! His face actually does show how angry he is while he's doing all this... and he's actually a mild crier in doing so, too.

The most impactful part about what pushes him to this point is HOW... and of course, that is Luigi. Specifically... Luigi getting hurt. Having dealt with trauma of a previous loved one getting hurt... seeing that happen to Luigi is essentially a trigger, and he immediately acts on it out of instinct.

Luigi:

Most of the time, Luigi's pretty chill. A little shy, maybe, but he's very mild-mannered and sweet. He rarely gets angry... and the few times that he has, even MARIO has shuddered just remembering them. What happens, you ask?

Usually, things that would make someone else furious... he just shrugs it off (maybe tearing up a little at most). When he's genuinely angry at someone (or something), he speaks in a calm voice, but you can just tell from looking at him that he is on the verge of strangling you. He might be smiling, but he is definitely not thinking too kindly of you at that moment. Scary? Yes... but that's only part of it.

The one thing his enemies learned quickly was NOT TO MESS WITH HIS FRIENDS OR FAMILY. If he catches wind of you doing that... let's just say you're about to have what's coming to you. 😅

As beating someone up is his last resort, Luigi usually uses TWO methods to go at someone: 1. Yell at them. 2. KRAKATOA.

From a combo of being a theater kid and just developing a deeper voice when angry as a whole, Luigi can sound TERRIFYING when he's yelling at you (projection of your voice truly does wonders, lol). He did this once to Bowser, and let's just say the big Koopa boy was pleading for Luigi to stop yelling at him and even apologizing.

For krakatoa... remember his Thunderhand? Unlike Mario, Luigi has a really good grasp of keeping his powers under control and not letting them slip out when he least needs them. He'll wait strategically for the right moment before he sends bolts of lightning down on you, pretty much just turning you into a pile of ash. Thankfully, this has only happened once... 😅
