The intaglios of California. 200 plus geoglyphs dot the Sonoran Desert of Southern California. Experts claim they are human made but the lack of scientific proof lends to much speculation. Much like the Cork/Kerry Stone Circles of my people, no native group claims making them however, they/we do acknowledge using them for ceremony. Signs of ceremonial use is apparent at some geoglyph locations. Many believe them to be 400-2200 years old. This current government needs more indigenous representation.
