@xpegasusuniverse : Can you please write a third part to the protective Katsuki AU? Maybe from Inko’s perspective, she finds very strange that Izuku and Katsuki are suddenly so close since they haven’t been friends for years, but she’s glad that her son doesn’t come home with bruises anymore, even if it does mean Katsuki walks him home every day. But she can’t help but shake the feeling that something is wrong

Something was off. All mothers had a sixth sense of sorts where they could tell that something was wrong with their child and Inko was not immune. Though, this didn’t necessarily feel entirely bad, but it definitely left a strange feeling in her core. 

Katsuki was around a lot more than before. And, on top of that, Izuku wasn’t coming home as bruised up as he used to.

Again, not bad, just strange. She had been friends with the Bakugou’s for years and had hoped for their sons to be friends as well, which they were before they started to drift apart. Inko didn’t think much of it at all though, figuring that people grow apart. However, she never felt right about it but Izuku had reassured her that everything was fine and there was no reason for her to doubt him.

It never fully sat right with her though but she didn’t know what she could do about it. And, in her mind, when Katsuki started to come by more often and was friendly to her son, she figured that things might have worked themselves out. However, the second part of her observation was still slightly concerning, though she couldn’t put her finger on it.

“I’m home!” her son’s voice rang throughout the house and Inko bolted up from her couch, pushing her thoughts to the side as she went to the front hall to great the boys.

“Welcome home Izuku, how was school today?” she asked enthusiastically before turning to the blonde that had walked in behind him again, like every day this past week. “And hello again Katsuki.” The other only grunted in response before shoving his hands in his pockets and shifting awkwardly on his feet. “Can I get you two anything to drink?”

Katsuki didn’t respond, eyes flitting to the door like he wanted to leave and Inko watched him intensely, trying to read his expression since he didn’t used to act so awkward in her home. “No thank you mom. I need to get started on homework,” Izuku said in response and she just hummed in acknowledgement. 

“Alright sweetie. I’ll start dinner soon,” she called out while her eyes were still trained on his classmate. “Why don’t you stay and join us for dinner?”

Slightly put off by the offer, Katsuki’s shifted again, turning his head to the side and looking around before turning back to her. “No thanks,” he said through gritted teeth.

“Oh yeah your parents must be expecting you home.” The other nodded and turned to make a move to leave. As he did this, Inko’s hand shot out, gripping his wrist and keeping him in place. “Wait-” she called out, feeling Katsuki tense up under her touch. Taking a deep breath, she let go of him and started to fidget with her hands. “I-I don’t know what’s been going on these past few weeks but,” she paused for a moment, “thank you for taking care of my Izuku.” 

A sharp intake of breath came from the other and Inko looked up at Katsuki with a confused expression on her face. Katsuki wasn’t looking at her, red eyes fixated on the open doorway. “It’s the least I can do.”

That’s alright, I think I only mentioned it in one of my posts before now anyway;

Izuku does not have a quirk in this AU. He is still the quirkless fanboy we all wanted to hug during episode one and two. 

In this timeline, Bakugou was the first to get attacked by the sludge villain and though Izuku still interfered and All Might was inspired by him, neither Bakugou nor All Might found him after the attack. And so Izuku never talked to his idol, never discovered his secret and never gained a quirk.He then applied to a few other courses at different schools, mainly in the support courses.

As for how and why he became a villain…….yeah that’s a spoiler question, sorry!
