It was a beautiful day for a wedding at the elegant Thornewood Castle on American Lake in Lakewood, Washington!
For those of you who don’t know, the Thornewood Castle is an official historical site, a bed and breakfast, and wedding venue that has stood on American lake for 100 years.
It has actually been around for 400 years—it was an Elizabethan Manor from England that was taken apart brick by brick and shipped here to be rebuilt for the wife of Mr. Chester Thorne, one of the founding members of the Port of Tacoma.
