my Twilight Sparkle headcanon ~ !

 this is just a theory, but it might make sense given how the magic of friendship can become something else if misused or if there is discord between those who hold the elements that make up the magic of friendship.

we know that Sunset had a dark side, that only became more corrupted thanks to Twilight’s element of harmony might not just hold the good magic, but might be able to transform and corrupt others who already had negative feelings and even ended up in a dark path thinking it will get them more respect.

Princess Twilight’s element even went through the portal, which might of left some leftover residue of dark magic, that Sci-Twi ended up making contact with it and the magic residue is what caused her own device to become able to suck up the magic from both Sunset and her friends.

the dark magic that was coming from the crown on Sunset,

might of seem like it was all coming from her, but what if the Element was feeding off of her negative emotions.

the Element of Magic could have both a Light and Dark Side,

Positive Friendship and Love keeps it from it’s Dark Magic from taking power and keeps it from corrupting someone who is not it’s original wielder, that being Sunset Shimmer.

I believe it was the dark magic that Princess Twilight’s element left behind on the portal, that caused her human counterpart to become Midnight Sparkle.

when Sci-Twi touched the portal, it had infected her with the leftover dark magic residue from Twilight’s element, that was responsible for transforming Sunset into a She-Demon by making her negative feelings be a part of her transformation, the dark magic in Twilight’s Element can suck up magic from others and even transform those with negative emotions, into a darker version of themselves.

the only way to help them, is the positive magic of friendship.

I believe that The Element of Magic isn’t 100% Good,

it has both Positive & Negative Magic, Light & Dark Magic.

it is possible that if this is true, Twilight and the rest of the Mane Six do not know that her element isn’t as innocent as it appears.

I know this might be a far fetch theory, but I believe that Princess Twilight’s element might be a type of Chaotic Neutral.

so long as the elements are used for good, Twilight’s magic will be positive and full of light.

so it might of been a good thing that the elements in Equestria were destroyed.

even if the elements of friendship will still be in the hearts of every creature and human in and outside Equestria, there could be consequences of misusing it.

 we could see the whole no magic in Equestria, in the future the Mane Five grew up in as one of the consequences. 

it be interesting if Sunny ends up finding a dragon egg and names the baby dragon after Spike, even if the new dragon ends up being a girl.

not everyone has to agree about the whole Twilight’s element being the source of both Sunset and Sci-Twi’s transformations, the dark side of the element of magic feeding off their negative feelings and even having the power to suck other magics from the other elements of harmony.

the positive side of the element of magic, might keep the dark magic side of it from stealing/draining magic from others.

Sci-Twi, when she touched the portal, and worked on her device.

it became infected by the Element of Magic’s Dark Side.

and when Sci-Twi released the magic, it let the Dark Magic out along with the stolen magic from Sunset and her friends.

but because of there being more dark magic in it, it caused it to feed on Sci-Twi’s negative feelings and even caused her to become Midnight Sparkle.

we could theorize that the reason Tirek can suck up magic,

is because he was infected by the Dark Magic that resides in the element of magic.

even if the element of magic can be used for good, it could end up causing harm if someone with very strong negative emotions becomes it’s next victim,

and can only be stop by it’s opposite, someone who will have positive emotions and the light side of the element of magic with the other elements to help the transformed victim heal and turn back to normal.

in theory, Celestia might of known that Twilight’s element was not all what it seem and had a dark side....

I know that Season 10 is in book form, but maybe someday it could be on TV but that might be just wishful thinking.

 not everyone has to agree about this theory, that Princess Twilight’s Element of Harmony, has both Light & Dark Magic and it can corrupt and transform those who have strong negative feelings.

Twilight being able to use dark magic, that Celestia showed her, might prove that....but she still makes sure to use the light side of the magic.

if Twilight did not hold positive feelings brought on by the ponies she formed a strong bond with when facing Nightmare Moon, then the dark magic side of the element would of appeared to her instead and maybe even transform her to a Midnight Sparkle, but that is just a fan theory.

sometimes we can’t control our negative feelings, because if they become too strong they can hurt us on the inside too much to the point where we might become either fully or half numb, like being half numb is when you can still feel emotions but at the same time you can’t....

Sci-Twi was unhappy at her first school before CHS, and it is pretty obvious that her brother had no clue that she was being bullied....

well he did seem full of himself, the way he said Crystal Prep always won the games.

the pony version of him, might be less full of himself.

anyway I really need to sign off, it’s around 12 Am now....so it’s tomorrow now.

I have a crossover drawing I want to post, but I can do that later...

once again, not everyone has to agree about the theory about Twilight’s element having two sides to it that can suck the magic of others and even fully corrupt someone with strong enough negative emotions and transforming them.

the positive magic of friendship is what can heal them, which is shown when Princess Twilight and the Human version of her friends were able to heal Sunset, and how Sunset helped Sci-Twi heal as well and turn back to normal.

I still love MLPFIM, and it’s okay to come up with different theories even if half of them turn out not to be canon and will end up being fanon only.  

the element of magic holding both light and dark magic, is also my headcanon.

and if others end up headcanoning it too, well that be nice.
