Electric Mud, c’est le projet de deux musiciens allemands, Hagen Bretschneider et Nico Walser. Le duo est actif depuis un peu plus d’une décennie et propose une musique qu’ils…

This is an album from 1968 and consists of Muddy Waters covering his own music in a style that sounds like it was probably made to catch the interest of fans of rock bands of the late 1960s. This is an interesting album in the context of Muddy Waters music because he wrote these blues songs that ended up influencing and getting covered by rock groups and without that kind of influence or covers of his songs this album probably would not have been created. My favorite song on this album is Tom Cat, which was sampled on the Cypress Hill song “Ultraviolet Dream”.
