"Thank you, and likewise to your Nephew, Charles."

"By the way, I've been meanin' to ask you somethin' for a while now. So your son can use both of his tails to fly right, that must take a lot of muscle power to pull off."

"I've assumed as much, but might I ask what you're getting at?"

"Can you hover with your tail? Since you only have one I guessed that'd be the only thing you'd be able to pull off!"

"First of all 'ouch'. Second of all, of course I can, but only for a short while, so can my wife actually."

"Hey there! don't worry everyone, we're still alive and kickin'."

"Do I even count as 'Alive' in this sense?"

"Hmm I dunno, can ya breathe?"

"Yes...?"

"Congratulations, you're alive."

"Good evening gentlemen, how are-..."

"Oh, You've gotten the blog up?"

"Yup. Just lettin' everyone know we're okay."

"Well I'll leave you to it."

It was a relatively quiet day on Angel island. Not many birds were chirping and the wind silently blew further emphasizing the silence. Alone, laying on top the giant green gem known as "The Master Emerald" was a bushy browed echidna reflecting on his past choices. Almost all of them mistakes in his eyes. Worst of them all being the choices he made when raising (if you could even call it that) his son.

Not only did he abandon him for years on end, he experimented with his egg in search of power without any regard for what effect it could have on him. He attempted to shake these thoughts, but the more he fought, the more they sunk in like knives to his heart until he finally cracked.

"K-Knuckles....i'm...i'm"

Why...why was he brought back to life? He never got a chance to apologize before, would he even accept It? It didn't matter anymore, to his son he was dead, and maybe it was better that way, no matter how much his heart ached.

"Amadeus, I need to ask you something. I figured with a son of the new generation, you'd be able to give me an answer."

"I'm assuming you mean Tails? Um sure, what is it?"

"It's about their lingo, I've heard a few of the young ones address me with a certain word."

"Okay. and that word being...?"

"Do you know what a 'Boomer' is Amadeus?"

"Ah. That. Well concidering the context my son uses it in, I'd assume it's describes someone as old or elderly."
