"Darling, you were damaged long before you and your friends ever decided to summon me."

It's said plainly, matter-of-factly, but Dionysos has never beaten around the bush for anything. They tilt their head as they look Camilla up and down, shrugging. "Your brother. He's awful, isn't he? Might be a shame if something happened, if he drove himself mad, had to be put away for the rest of his life."

"I... didn't mean to hear that."

What they should say, is that they didn't mean to read Camilla's mind, but the words don't come out like that. It shouldn't matter, they both know what Nadine means, but their brain is getting caught up on everything.

"Hey, I didn't ask for commentary from the fuckin' peanut gallery. What do I need a woman's opinion for anyways? Jesus christ--" Well, if it wasn't obvious that Bunny was on edge, it must be now. He can't help that he can't focus, that all the letters start looking like nonsensical squiggles to him. Is that πῖλος or τῖλος (two very different words with very different meanings. Julian would have a cow)? He blinks, rubs his eyes, groans a little in frustration.

Francis isn't sure if the illness he's come down with is stress or something else, though he's willing to be on it being stress. He's always been sickly, or at least convinced himself that he's always been that way. He's always checking his temperature or his heart rate or wondering if the odd palpitation is a looming heart attack. Imagine the stress he puts himself under when he's actually sick! On top of everything else going on, it's just one huge mess.

He sniffles and sinks down into his bed, shivering under the pile of blankets that he's under. "Oh, Camilla, don't come too close," he warns as she presses her hand to his forehead. The slight chill of her touch is actually quite nice against the warmth of his skin. He swallows hard and rolls onto his side, facing away from her so he doesn't breathe his germs all over her.

"Yeah, well, you don't believe a damn thing anyone says unless it comes from Henry, so I'm not really surprised." Bunny raises his brows, looking up from the magazine he's idly flipping through. "But you heard me. Ol' Henry and I are going to Rome. Just the two of us. You jealous, Artemis? That looks terrible on such a pretty face." He smirks and rests his chin in his had, tilting his head. He looks entirely too smug because he knows he's getting under her skin. It's just so easy, isn't it?

"Hmm, I will. I'm just enjoying the view a little."

“About Greek? Absolutely not, but about that class being weird? I think I can at least have an opinion on the thing. I mean, is it really that great? Being surrounded by dudes like… literally constantly?”

It doesn’t help that Nadine is far from the most academic person on this campus. Actually, it’s sort of surprising they even made it into this campus, but they’re here. And everyone talks about this weird little class and degree, but no one ever actually asks questions about any of it.
