Mars Kit2 Mk2 DIY build just completed by local customer. We did the switch on at the workshop to make sure all wiring was safe. We had to swop the phase of the phase inverter. Sounds great. 450v DC power supply. Cathode to heater voltage within spec on the long tail inverter. 3.5v bias on input triode. 真空管の交換（２）
Replacing vacuum tubes.

前回は 300-B シングル期のプリ管を交換しました。今回は EL34 プッシュプル機のプリ管を交換してみました。新しく購入した真空管は JJ エレクトロニック製で赤いプリント文字の見た目で選択しましたが残念ながらそのプリント文字は裏側になってしまいました。
まずは中央よりの2本 ～ 12AX7
表記は ECC83S ~ 右がメーカー不明の中国製。
↑↓ 完全互換品ですがもともと使われていた中国製のものとはかなり内部の構造が違っています。
次に左右の2本 ～ 12AU7 (ECC82)
こちらも内部構造はかなり違ってます。
交換完了 ～ JJ の赤色いロゴは裏側に。
SP ケーブル等の接続を確認して電源オン ～ ヒーター点灯。
聴き比べをしたわけではありませんが音の印象に変化は感じませんでした。同じメーカーの同化価格帯の 300B シングル機と比べると（元々）ざらつき・ひずみ感が少なく、スピーカーの駆動力は高いように思います。プリ管を交換してもその印象のままでした。
※真空管機器は高電圧が使われておりコンデンサーに残っていることもあります。抜き差しだけでも慎重に行わなければなりません。
