First of all I’m curious as to how you found me, and who pointed you to Ekunia. I haven’t made any posts regarding Ekunia so it’s interesting that someone found me. 

There’s not much to be confused about, because nothing interesting happens on the forum. Well, very little, and sporadically at best. Nuke, the creator and owner of the forum says he’s been trying to make a game hosting platform akin to Steam or Origin. He does this despite the fact that he has no team, no experience and is still in high school. He continuously makes grandiose promises that he has no way of fulfilling. Originally Nuke wanted to create generic JRPGs but couldn’t even create an initial concept or mechanics without falling flat on his face. 

Besides the fact that there hasn’t been a post in weeks, you’ll want to avoid it based solely on Nukes personality and people skills. He’s blatantly homophobic, treats the people who do use the forum as idiots and totally unwilling to accept criticism. He believes that homosexuality is a human invention and that you can change your sexuality purely by choice. He uses meaningless buzzwords and jargon to make himself sound smart without actually saying anything. He refuses to show any progress on his various projects and, when pressed on the issue, throws something together in 20 minutes in paint and calls it 4 months work. 

The forums main focus, supposedly, is his games projects and video games in general. Most of what Nuke posts, however, is political dogma no one has any interest in. There are dozens of posts where he asks for an opinion on some political situation and gets nothing in response. A lot of his political rambling is related to Russia, which, for some unknown reason, he believes to be the pinnacle of human society and can do no wrong. He will also occasionally make a forum game that will either get no responses, be too complex to understand (partly because he doesn’t explain the rules clearly) or be utterly boring due to his lack of writing skills. Even when he does make posts about games all he does is talk about obscure JRPGs that no ones ever heard of and that he has no money to buy games. 

Nuke is pretty sexist too. From what I remember he’s Pro-life and believes women shouldn’t have sex before marriage. I think he was also for abstinence only sex education and that teenagers should be discouraged from sexual experimentation, violently if necessary. He hasn’t made any posts regarding the stuff happening in America at the moment, but I’m fairly sure it would be equally disgusting. 

So I made a few posts on Stiveland a long, long time ago. Apparently this has caused the developer to lose artists. I don't really feel too bad about it though. I only linked to his posts, that he made. I think anybody who's going to potentially work for his company should know what they're getting themselves into.

Also, according to him, I've said some completely untrue things. I'm assuming he's talking about my comments on his Always-Online DRM policy. Back when I talked to him, that's what he communicated to his forum. I told him that it was a bad idea, because single player games shouldn't be tied to the internet. It was because I argued with him about this idea that he considered putting in an offline mode. Now I dunno, if he's changed his mind about that and has gone all offline except for his MMO but from what I remember that's what happened at the time.

I also made comments about his story writing, but really that's a matter of opinion. I could clearly see the one dimensional characters, the cliche plots, and the clear self-inserts. I know because I've written shit like that in the past and it's embarrassing. But, who knows, to somebody else, it might be their cup of tea.

I made other comments on his ideas that I thought were seriously dumb and overly complex for a first time developer. They were probably scrapped but you never know. I guess some of them were interesting.

Though... To be fair, I did make those posts in retaliation to the last argument we had. So I guess it was a bit immature and childish for me to do....Okay, I'll rephrase that, not a bit but a lot. It was very immature and childish. The name-calling in my posts (both on tumblr and on his forum) weren't okay either.
