"Eiritha the Herd Mother is a daughter of Ernalda, the Earth Mother, and of Hykim, the Father of Beasts; in turn, her daughters each became the progenitor of a species of livestock. Thus, she is the source of fecundity and rich milk for all hooved and horned creatures. Eiritha lived in the bounty of Genert's Garden in bounty and simplicity until the coming of the Great Darkness. When Death came to take her, her people hid her under the ground, preserving her at the cost of never being able to walk upon the ground again. In the present age, Praxian nomads and pastoralists from many cultures are utterly dependent upon Eiritha for their daily existence."
