A drawing for my friend Eighty Uh of her fursona Chia. Tried emulating some of her superior rendering and coloring techniques. I like how it turned out! 😁 but it took forever to draw...

I spent like 3-4 hours on this thing today while I was watching our dog. Much longer than expected. But it was fun. Been wanting to draw my friend Eightyuh’s new satyr sorcerer Dungeons & Dragons character Feopi

I didn’t even know you could make your character a satyr…

I made a version with color/greytones for emphasis, but I prefer the black and white version.

I’m going to enter a local art auction/gallery display this year called the 6x6 Project https://patch.com/illinois/crystallake/calendar/event/20200111/741073/raue-centers-call-for-artists-for-2nd-annual-6x6-project  This is the second year they’ve held this event, and I had participated in last year’s event also. I want to try painting with gouache this year (I used acrylics last year), but I’m not super familiar with gouache compared to my usual watercolors. So I did a quick test painting of my friend Adia’s newly-made, currently unnamed goat girl character for fun https://twitter.com/eightyuh/status/1232145065251950594

The colors aren’t quite accurate, and I’m not sure if this is the style I want to go with for my final artwork, but I’m pretty happy with how it turned out and it was fun to do. Gouache is certainly a lot easier to use than acrylics.

 I immediately liked her redesign of her art kaigunelly Ashley and how she described her (“relaxed, athletic, loose, casual, fun… and a little sexy”). So I drew this! :XD:  She reminds me of my own kaigunelly Carol, who's also pretty flirty and casual.
