Green Dot

The green dot beside your name gives me immense happiness. Knowing that you’re online makes my heart beat so fast, so fast that it feels like exploding (pathetic I know). But everything starts and ends with it -tiny green dot. That green little thing that I long to see each day is the only proof I have that you are real and you are existing in my world event if it’s just in my cyber world. I tried a thousand times to start a conversation with you but I failed, simply because there’s just nothing for us to talk about. So instead, I contented myself with watching the green dot until it fades hoping that the next time it lights up we will have something to talk about.
