#ei fluff

Most were positive, the people admired you as a icon. Then there was those that were envious. Envious of your status, your happiness, your love. You tried to let no negative comments affect you as there will always be negativity In this world but sometimes negativity that is ignored can build your own up and hit you all at once. 

You had been having the regular typical day you always had. Today you wanted to cook for your lover but your humble abode wasn’t completely stocked with the ingredients that you desired. Ei had insisted that she acquire someone to shop for you but you stood your ground and denied her request. You wanted this surprise meal to be special.  

While Ei left to deal with her duties you journeyed out to the shops of Inazuma. You wondered around searching for quality ingredients until you overheard the mutters of a group of citizens. “Yes… what does she see in them? They’re are so many fair maidens that fill this land yet she chose… someone so below average?” Your heart stopped at the words that were whispered between the huddle. It was then you notice all of the eyes burning holes into your skin.

You tried to continue walking but the shiver that chilled you body due to the stares of all the shoppers and vendors made your chest tighten. Your breath seemed to catch in your throat as your pace hastened. If you finished the shopping you could just go home and begin cooking.   You eyes began to water as you quickly observed all of the ingredients you were buying. You rushed to buy them and exit the market. Your chest seemed to squeeze with every glance to the side as you noticed more and more stares on you.

You reached the entrance of your home. The Gaurds stationed outside noticed how distressed you were and let you pass quickly not wanting to make matters worse with questions.  As soon as you entered the safety of your home tears began to spill down your cheeks. You rubbed your cheeks raw. 

With your cheeks still damp and eyes still watery you made your way to the kitchen to place the purchased items down.  You left to go get a cloth to wipe your swollen eyes. You reached a mirror and once you looked at your reflection your confidence spiraled. They were right. There were so many charming people that filled this nation so… why me?

You jumped when you heard a door slide open. You quickly removed yourself from the bathroom. You found Ei standing by the entrance to your living space blankly staring at you. You attached her to welcome her but, she cupped your red, still mildly damp cheeks in her hand as she gave you a stoic expression. 

Sitting in the stairs in front of Tenshukaku Inc., you were waiting for Ei to come out. It was late in the evening, the sun still heating in this mid-summer, shading the sky with nuances of pink and red. You weren’t really dating Ei, this wasn’t official, just hanging out when she had time or when she was not walking around with Miko.

After 30 minutes Ei finally pushed the huge glass door, her stilettos clacking on the floor. Her long dark purple tied in a braid going down to her hips, she was wearing her usual black shoes Miko offered her on her last birthday, a short skirt showing her long legs and a blouse, half open on her chest:

“Dear, you’re already here. God, i’m sorry, the artistic director held me back to check up on the next catalog. What are we doing this evening?”

Ei was running a bank society, the biggest in the country, Tenshukaku Inc., created by herself and Yae Miko when they finished their studies. You and her were having time together after she finished work but only if she could.

“I found this new restaurant on the next avenue, Mao Chief himself said it was a good time to spend there. But i’m sorry, i forgot my wallet at home, i’ll take you there next time. Do you have any other plans?”

Ei was a quite paradoxical person, she had more money than anyone could ever dream of, but always forgot her wallet and else at her penthouse:

“Well, i prepared a basket full of food, but i don’t know where we could eat…” you said, standing up to join her,

“Perfect. I know the perfect place. It would just take time to go there, it wouldn’t bother you to have a road trip before?

“Oh no, not at all! We should go now to get there not too late.”

“Great, get in the car dear!”

She took out a car key from her purse, a Porsche Carrera turned on further on the street. Ei walked down the stairs, her hips balancing at her steps and her braid following the movement. That was hypnotic, you could stare at it for hours without getting bored. The red sun shining on the car was giving off that sunset vibe you really liked.

Ei took place behind the wheel and you sat next to her:

“Wait two second for me to quickly change”

She dropped her stilettos, took off her skirt:

“It’s still hot for this late in the day, isn’t it dear?”

Ei unbuttoned her blouse, ending up in lingerie in the convertible Porsche. A bead of sweat flowed slowly from her neck to between her breasts.

She took a large pair of pants and a transparent crop-top on the back seat, a more comfy outfit to drive. She took sunglasses in the sideway box, lying across you, put them on and locked her belt:

“Would you be nice to untied my hair Dear?”

You took her braid in your hands and pulled off the elastic. A fall of purple hair fell onto your hands and arms, shining like moving satin, you gently brushed them. Ei took your hand, giving a soft kiss on it:

“Thank you Dear, shall we go now?” turning on the Carrera.

You sat back in your seat and the Porsche went away.

Ei was looking like the devils driving on L.A.’s roads, like she was owning the world in her hands, her sunglasses suiting her so well, giving off the energy of the girl boss she was. Putting her right hand on your thigh she asked how had been your day. Well, not that bad actually, you got promoted after writing down a excellent article about the backgrounds of the last presidential election and why it turned that way.

You were working two blocks away from Tenshukaku Inc., for the newspaper “Yae Editorial Room”, created by Yae Miko herself. She gave its lead to Ayaka Kamisato after Tenshukaku Inc. began to take a big place in the national industry:

“Hmm i see, congratulations my dear, this needs a gift!” said Ei adjusting her sunglasses.

The two of you were already leaving the town behind you, the sun at the back, the hot wind caressing your faces. Countryside around Narukami was really pretty and calm, sakura trees and purples cristaflies colouring the landscape.

You turned on the radio to listen to the evening news. The restaurant Ei thought of apparently got four stars from the Fontaine newspaper “Iron Bird”.

Miss Hina was exposing her correspondences with her fiancée at war for historical purposes, a lot of her readers were suspecting her of not really being the women she wanted to make believe she was, indeed, she barely shows up at public events so seing her was pretty rare. Anyway, the readers liked so much her chronicle that it wouldn’t matter if she was a women or not.

News of the day, Yun Jin and Xinyan, singers from Liyue, finally dropped their collaborating album. Both of them were some of your favourite artists, a lot of fans were waiting for this collaboration, and so you were too. You turned off the radio and connected your phone to the car Bluetooth system. It was out on every platform, switching to the music app, you found it on the hit tendance of the day, it will surely stay there for a month or more. The music was fitting perfectly the vibe of the sunset:

“Oh i listened to Master Yun this morning, i can’t get tired of hearing her voice, it’s purely amazing don’t you think dear?” said Ei while turning up the volume.

And so the night went by, the car rolling across the warm air of the falling day, Ei driving to a place you didn’t know anything about. It wasn’t that bad though, as long as you could be chilling around with Ei, gorgeous as ever, nothing else matter.

- not sure if it was expected or not, but they would definitely dote on you, giving you everything you want. oh that toy all the way from fontaine? one of the commissions are already on it.

"what do you mean they want one, ei?"

"they looked at it and smiled, yae."

- any hobby or interest, they'll support you. for example, you want to learn origami, you have high quality paper with a variety of colors the next day.

- but of course, they can be strict. they want you to be safe and smart. you'd have some rules to follow and any injury of yours would be taken very seriously.

- they'd surely educated you about inazuma's history and with 2 powerful moms, you bet you'd be raised to be a strong fighter.

- they're your biggest cheerleaders! anything you do (as long as it's right) they'll encourage you.

- you'd spend a lot of time at the grand narukami shrine with yae as sakura petals fall all over you. sometimes, she'll even read some light novels to you while you lay in her lap.

"did you fall asleep dear?" she'd ask, shaking her head fondly as she gazed down at you.

- the other shrine maidens love you so much too!

"lady yae! good morning! did you perhaps bring your child along today?"

- with her discovery of the kamera, ei would take countless pictures of you while you grow up. first steps, first taste of dango, you in a hilichurl tower, basically anything.

"ah those are your photo albums. why do we have so many? 12 isn't that much right?"

- ei feeding you her favorite sweets and trying new ones as the two of you critique them. yae might intervene and scold her for feeding you so many candies.

- they'd be knowledgeable enough to be aware you need to make friends and grow up with interaction so they'd let you play with the other kids.

"you think that one was a bit salty as well?" ei speaks, nodding solemnly before yae walks in hurriedly. "isn't that your 14th one?"

- they'd make sure to keep a watchful eye on you, though. ei would try her best to integrate with society better so you can grow up normally.

- if anyone were to hurt you for any reason, whether that be at random or as revenge, they better be ready to be sorry.

- if yae's words aren't enough to scare them, ei's force definitely will.

- they'll melt for sure if you do anything remotely cute. even if you do throw a tantrum, they'd find a way to 'awww' about it.

"did you see how they bit you? that was adorable!"

"i must admit, it was quite cute."

- they never imagined this kind of domestic life before until you were brought into their lives. they treasure and love you with all they've got.

- you're their pride and joy and they'd be so soft for you. all they ask is you love them in return <3
