OH MY GODDDD YOU KNOW WHAT PISSES ME OFF MORE THAN ANYTHING. when people will take the most uninteresting bland white bread male character and obsess over him and give him a rich inner world all from their imagination and passion for his character which is. fine by itself have fun we are all goofing around but then they will completely ignore the female charactets in any piece of media who are maybe written badly and not given much to work with and are ignored by the sexist author but they are still THERE and they are still WRITTEN and THATS ALL YOU NEEDED BEFORE!! they are so much more interesting than the male character who you just made up by the way but you wont even loft a finger for them because theyre a woman. ok ok ok ok. like im not mad but im mad. male nothingburger vs girl who is a victim of the male-centered narrative but is still more interesting who will they pick. always the man. he isnt even interesting. there is more to work with with her but you always pick him. why.

and also I saw someone say yeah its harder to connect with those characters because their foundation is misogyny thats all theyre built off of, that just makes me not want to interact with them because its so sexist!! SHUT!!!!!!!! UPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THATS NOT WHY. THATS NOT WHY THEY DO IT. and dont bean soup me. in some cases im sure that IS the reason people dont care about a girl. but the only example I can truly think of where there is NOTHING to build off and nothing to think about is that girl from planet of the apes who is in a caveman bikini and has no speaking lines and the main guy just drags her around. thats literally it. if the woman has a single line and does anything I mean ANYTHING. thats all you need for a boy!! (sometimes they dont even need a boy they will MAKE UP A BOY just so they can ignore the girls) and its not like the male character youre focusing on isnt built off of sexism?!?!? they make remarks about the women in their life or they're a womaniser or theyre built off patriarchal ideas/ standards i guarantee they are affected in some way by sexism and no thats not a reason to throw them out entirely BUT YOU JUST THREW OUT THE WOMAN FOR THAT!!!!!!!!!!!! GODDDDDD!!!!!
