Bring your attention inward to “I AM’ prior to thoughts, labels, feelings, memories, your body and experiences. The simple fact of being aware of your awareness you must return to again and again.
You are that which is conscious beyond the content of passing thoughts, emotions, role identities and experiences. Turn your attention inwards and become aware of your thoughtless and wordless awareness. Do not take any form to be your own and limit yourself to any identity.
The key lies in learning to witness thoughts and fully feel emotions without identifying completely with them. You are the space in which thoughts and emotions arise, not the thoughts and emotions themselves. Observe what effortlessly observes, put a spotlight of attention onto the very source of attention itself.
Your work can become a spiritual practice when approached with conscious presence. Conscious living happens in the Now with whatever circumstances currently exist. There is no resistance to life; you respond to what is in front of you, not what you think it ‘should’ be. This is how you awaken to the truth of your being (the eternal ‘I’ witness).
