Take your burger game to the next level with this life-altering Juicy Lucy burger. The oozy cheese, perfectly cooked egg, and all the classic burger toppings make this a truly indulgent and unforgettable burger experience.
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. Salt and pepper to taste. 4 slices of American cheese. 4 large eggs. 4 hamburger buns. 4 tablespoons mayonnaise. 4 lettuce leaves. 4 tomato slices. 4 slices of red onion. 4 slices of bacon optional. Ketchup and mustard for topping optional.
Instructions: Set your grill or griddle on the stove to medium-high heat. While the grill is getting hot, make 8 equal portions of the ground beef. Make thin patties out of 4 of the portions as shown. Add pepper and salt. On each of the four thin patties, put one slice of American cheese. The last four pieces of ground beef should also be made into thin patties. Put these patties on top of the ones that were covered in cheese to make 4 stuffed patties. Make sure the edges are well sealed so the cheese doesn't leak out while it's cooking. Grill or cook the stuffed patties for four to five minutes on each side, or until they're done the way you like them. If you want, you can fry the bacon slices in a separate pan until they are crispy while the patties are cooking. Just before the burgers are done, make a small hole in the middle of each one and crack an egg into each one. It should take about two to three minutes of cooking for the yolks to be just right as long as the egg whites are set. On the grill, toast the hamburger buns until they are just barely golden. Put your burgers together: Put a lettuce leaf, a tomato slice, and a red onion slice on the bottom bun. Then spread a tablespoon of mayonnaise on each bun. Place the egg-topped cooked patty on top, and if you want, add bacon. You can put ketchup and mustard on top if you want to. Next, put the top bun on your burger. Now you can eat this amazing Juicy Lucy burger with an egg!
