Movie!sonegg headcanons??
Don’t really have sonegg feelings for the movie. Sonic is portrayed very much as a child and not the seasoned wise hedgehog we’ve seen in the games, who’s also had a long standing relationship with Eggman. And despite the Valentines saying him and Eggman are frenemes; movie!Eggman nor movie!Sonic are casual with each other each other at all. So it lacks the dynamic I ship them for.
Going back to Eggman not being conventionally attractive, it's still odd to me this ship isn't more popular. There are a decent amount of people that wanna fuck Eggman. Just, very few of them happen to ship Sonegg. It just strikes me as so odd. This is a 30 year old franchise, and there are like 2.5 Sonegg fics in existence. All that time? Hardly anything?
Yeah its really weird. For while thought it was hidden somewhere like there was a secret place for sonegg shippers but nahh.
I'm honestly surprised that SonEgg isn't more popular? Because they are basically the two main characters- with a super cute dynamic! I thought superhero x villain, or like rivals type ship would be more popular but I guess not..? I guess people aren't into it as much cuz Eggman isn't traditionally attractive?

I'm so disappointed. :( Well, thank you anyway. In fact, it's hard to find even just Egg-centered good fanfics. I really like this character (and heh no, I don't mean the newest live action one, I'm here for the older, cartoon and game versions).

OMG anon is so right. :( I guess the only reason Egg isn't popular in fanfiction cause he does not really look "handsome" to most of fans. But still, Egg and Sonic are the main rivals, and Egg is so interesting as a character, so wtf? Where are all the fics? :(
Yeah it’s unfair. Sometimes I see people ship egghog but they make Eggy a hedgehog or like anime character and its like Lame.
I was planing on writing a sonegg FF but I'm legit scared of being attacked and bullied because of it.
I know it can be scary, luckily a lot of the fandom doesn’t purposely look to flag out sonegg stuff because nobody even thinks of it as a possibility.
