influenced by traditional arctic fish racks, rintala eggertsson architects have installed a series of wood structures on a seashore in northern norway to serve as the functional framework for the approaching arts festival, SALT. the pitched varieties will be utilised primarily for displaying artwork and hosting musical performances, even though remaining versatile for other prospective exhibitions. the building variety makes it possible for for easy transport, assembly, and disassembly, and also resists wind forces frequent on the exposed shores. positioned on the mountainous island of sandhornøy, the event commences on august 29, 2014 and will travel to several spots above a period of many years, even though remaining at its existing website until finally september 6, 2015.
