How to Hollow Out an Egg

I'm giving you an egg piñata DIY project to do today! Easter is coming soon and if you're planning a nice dinner this is the prefect craft to make for each place setting at your table! 

Now to begin..you need to remove the egg from the shell...do this by poking a pin into the bottom..large enough so it can drain out ;) 

Once all the eggs have been cleaned and dried get all your supplies together:

* Scisssors

* hot glue gun

* vintage book paper or any kind of paper you would like to use!

Cut out little circles from your paper and then cut again in half...

Now cut some strips of white paper to write your fortunes on them to put in the egg. 

You could write anything you desire! 

Place the message in the egg! I would also put some CANDIES in it too but I ate mine while I was making this craft so there were none left to put in!!!

Close the bottom hole off with some paper and glue it to the egg. 

Now start hot glue gunning the half circle pieces on the egg....going around and around in a line layering them.

Now you are done! Put it in a cute egg holder and place it on each guests plate and napkin!

SMASH it!!! This is the fun part! Now each guest can read their fortune and eat some candy before dinner ;)
