#eevee figure

Today we my Posable Eevee figure!

I wanna explain why this eevee is so special to me, even if nobody is listening.

So I have Aspergers, which means as a kid I was obsessed with carrying little figures, giving them personalities and using them as comfort objects. Teacher shouts at me because I don't understand something? It's fine, my friend is in my coat pocket to calm me down. That sorta thing.

I wasn't into pokemon as much as a kid, my mother wasn't rich so I didn't have much merch or an oppurtunity to collect cards etc. I had a few of those plastic finger puppets, one of which was my comfort object for years (until it started breaking).

A boy at my school loved pokemon, and had loads of figures that we would play with together at break. He had this Eevee and I was obsessed with the thing. He offered to trade one of my pokemon finger puppets for it and initially I did, but my hyperempathy made me feel too guilty, like I was abandoning the one I traded away. Because of this, I ended up trading it back and felt heartbroken.
