Edward Smith (2025 Australia tour Admetus) reflecting back on his 'female ballet variations' project.
He started out as a ballet dancer before moving into musical theatre, and, during the last couple of months of the Aussie tour, started incorporating into his play-out at the end of the show a variety of hsi favourite female ballet variations. Here, he talks about them and compares his own version to the videos that inspired him growing up.
Finally he gets to live out his dreams to be a prima ballerina! In a cat wig and floofy arm/leg warmers.

Ok, have this one of Edward Smith's ballet variations too - this one featuring a guest star Macavity beard, which apparently never made it offstage. Not sure about the date on this one!
I like to imagine it was just Demeter tearing pieces off Macavity, as she deserves. 😌
