It's been a tough week for our tenderhearted, justice-oriented tween (and her parents. How do we process huge emotions and teach her about injustice and solidarity and using one's privilege for the good of the marginalized? Not always successfully when we haven't taken our own time and done our own work). But -- anger and grief have been expressed, diagnostic tests have been taken, chores have been completed. Now: rest. We're comfy on the floor, watching a seamstress & worldbuilder design historybounding capsule wardrobes (she's fast becoming your fan, @mariahpattie! Thanks for your good work).
