You ever hear people say, "well if you wanna read it then write it"?
Yeah, it's time. You have the ideas. You have the passion. So why aren't you writing?
It's not laziness, no.
You don't know where to begin? Probably.
Maybe you've started but you're getting stuck on how to enhance that story. Maybe you're doubting yourself. Guess what, writer? You're not alone! You can get allll the help you need all in one place.
And yes, I meant to call you a writer. You don't have to be a best seller to be writer. Hell, you don't have to be a published author to be a writer.
Women is not a TOY
Living in a society that was exposed to violence, inequality, and immorality was a great challenge to every individual to survive. In the 21st century, crimes and violence have the highest rate in every part of the world. In present society it sets the standard without boundaries and limits. People learned about machines, technologies and high levels of intellectual knowledge, and they forgot about morality and manner. As freedom is used wrongly it results in adverse effects in every aspect of life. One of the most controversial issues in society besides killing is gender orientation, discrimination, inequality and disrespect. It is the centered focus in Brandon Teena’s story who was being rape, change gender orientation and killed.
One of the highest rate crimes is rape, it is a sensitive topic and complicated argument in the society. Rape is act of force sexual intercourse between man and woman. Rape has negative effect especially on the victim in terms of her emotional, physical and psychological state. Society creates the idea that women are just a sex toys and just for pleasure, this idea roots from religion and culture. As said, it is complicated argument because many people believe that if woman was raped it was her fault, they blamed the way of clothing of a woman. In the past, catholic women were not allowed to wear revealing clothes, their dress must not show their arms, shoulders and legs as possible. In islam women are required to wear Hijab to protect them in the sexual act of man. Women should show grace and elegance, some women are not allowed to see men. But if you think deeply with unbiased mind and perspective, man is the reason why woman was rape because they are the one that did the action. If a man learns his self-discipline and sexual temper even if the woman in front of him is naked, he will still not think of “sex”. In fact, there are reported rape case that victims has an age of below 10 years old definitely it is a child. But why still man rape the poor child? Some victims have the proper way of clothing and their body was well covered but why still man raped her? These questions are very hidden and ignored in society.
As time passed by, women were underrated and downgraded by men because of the belief that men are more dominant and stronger than women. We all already know that gender is only female and male, but time passed by and there are some varieties of genders revealed and developed. In this case, Brandon turn into trans man after she was raped, after her change she was raped again and killed that ends her life. Her life story represents that whatever your gender or sex is, rapist will always do his rape. Even you are men, transgender, bisexual and other gender orientation still there’s always possibility of rape.
In fact there are laws and rules in rape cases. The RA 8358(Anti-rape law) stated that rape is a crime and the RA 9710(Magna Carta for Woman) that protects woman and child from abuse. By the help of these women are protected under the law. But even though we have these laws, rapists are rapists. In the eyes of our rapist we are all victims no matter what gender, age and status. This is the sad reality that over time builds. We can prevent it and avoid it, starting from ourselves to society and society to everyone. Discipline our morality, human rights and be educated.
my reflection about “BRANDON TEENA STORY” about rape.

The important thing is not to know how to spell words, but how to use them; evidently this was not taught in the days when boys learned to spell 15,000 words but men only used 1,500. The way to learn to use words is to read some good literature often and carefully, intensively, not extensively. But careful reading is positively discouraged. The same book says of school-children: “They are trained to read as rapidly as possible so that they will not be halted in the gaining of meaning by giving attention to separate words, since explicit awareness of separate words in one’s reading[33] delays and often confuses the process of interpreting the thought contained in the reading” (p. 420). I wonder what pupils so trained would make of
Sabrina fair,
Listen where thou art sitting
Under the glassy, cool, translucent wave,
In twisted braids of lilies knitting
The loose train of thy amber-dropping hair.
No doubt it will be said that the modern man has no time for such trivialities as the appreciation of great poetry. Yet the very men who say this are prepared to set aside a great deal of time in order to teach young men how to kill each other scientifically. This is surely the reductio ad absurdum of a utilitarian philosophy.

Hi. My name is Abby Stein. I’m a transgender woman who has been doing a lot of advocacy in the community. Although my question has nothing to do with that. I want to talk about education. I grew up in New York City. I was born and raised here, but I couldn’t speak English until I was 20 years old.
Hello all,
It’s been quite a while since I’ve posted anything, as real life has a funny way of getting in the way of things we want to do. I just wanted to let this post be a place where we can talk with resources for long distance teaching or discussing how different places are handling the education as of right now.
I’ll start - I’m in Las Vegas, NV and we have cancelled in-class school until the 17th (iirc from my meeting) and it may be longer. We’re utilizing iReady, Google Classroom, and Zoom.
What about you all? I look forward to seeing/hearing resources and what’s going on with you all.

Asked about the cuts, Education Minister Lisa Thompson called them a 'regular occurrence'
More than 360 teachers with the Peel District School Board have learned they will no longer have permanent positions heading into the new school year.
The board's director of communications confirmed to CBC News that 176 elementary and 193 secondary teachers were informed about the change Tuesday — amid an attempt by Education Minister Lisa Thompson to downplay the cuts as "an annual exercise."
The cuts are the result of "changes to class sizes, cuts in local priorities funding and other reductions in funding," Carla Pereira said.
The tone from the president of the union representing secondary school teachers, however, was much more pointed.
"This is not routine," Mike Bettiol of the Ontario Secondary School Teachers' Federation's District 19 said in a statement.
"In fact, secondary has not had any surplus teachers since 2013 ... and then it was 40 teachers. The layoffs are all due to budget cuts and entirely the government's fault."
